I have a ton of tests tomorrow. I'm supposed to like Fridays, but I don't, I hate them. Why? All work is due Friday and I'm an avid procrastinator, almost all classes have their tests on Friday. I haven't gone a week without at least three tests.
We were doing an outdoors project during science today and I went to swat a fly away from my face and ended up jabbing my self in the eye. Does that mean I lack aim or depth perception? Probably both.
During lunch Sonya was putting fake blood on walls, dripping it on the floor and Misa's arm. She had a box of food coloring with her and was messing around with it, The stuff somehow got onto my backpack and I only found out about it when I put down my bag and noticed my colorful fingers. Not cool...Well sort of. I mean...I'm going to smack her silly tomorrow! Well, that's sorta it.

Yesterday I had won a free soda. I was looking under the cap of the soda I bought today and I won another free soda, no joke! I'm either jinxed or now all Mellow Yellow and Coca Cola soda bottle tops say that.
I heard this song last night that I'm now in love with, problem is I have no clue what it's called or who sings it. I hate when this happens to me! It was over a year ago since something like this happened and I didn't want to go through this again.

My fingers stopped hurting when I play days ago and my wrist which had started to hurt doesn't anymore either. One less thing to worry about.
Tropical storm Jeanne is supposed to be here by tonight. It's bad but I hope it does just enough damage to give us a day or two off of school. I could really use the time.
Oh! I found out today that my guitar, which is my dad's old one, is 29 years old. Which I thought was pretty cool, it's almost four years older then my older brother. You can tell to, it's all beat up looking and it doesn't shine like most guitars do. But it sounds good so that's all that really matters.
So shoo'

We went down to a music store to replace my pick, I got these four picks with alien faces, two of them glow in the dark. They're pretty awesome! I also like their shape better than my first one which was heart shaped. While we were there my dad and I tried out one of the electric guitars in the back room. The first time I held the guitar was like "Dang! I knew these were heavier then acoustic guitars but dang!" I didn't actually say that but it's what I was thinking.
If I get a guitar now it'll be a cheap starter guitar, but if I wait like six months and get really good I can get a really nice one. I really want to get one now so that I can practice playing on it but I don't want to end up not being allowed to buy another because I have the starter. Which is something my mother would do, not allow me to have two electric guitars because "one is enough."
I hope she doesn't do or say something like that, because I hate waiting.

Yesterday I had three tests and spoke in front of my French class. My talk went by really quickly because luckily I had practiced enough so that it just came out, I wasn't even sure of what I was saying. I hope that doesn't mean I said something wrong, I don't think so because every time I looked at the teacher she was nodding.
I only had one guitar pick and being me I stupidly lost it last night. I tried strumming with my fingers but it's weird, it's even harder to play notes with my fingers. I'm going over to the music store to buy picks, more than one, and check out some electric guitars. My dad says I should check out if I like the sound, I'm not quite sure what he means because I've heard the sound they make, maybe I'm missing something. This kid in the band had his electric guitar in science class and was messing around with it with his two friends.

I heard while flipping through channels that Spears got married to that dude, but not really. Like they signed some sort of paper saying it was fake. Who signs a paper saying their wedding is fake, and why have a fake wedding if everyone knows it's fake? She seriously has gone crazy. And is definitely getting to much attention. I can't believe I used to listen to her music. I can't even make myself sit through her songs when they're played on the radio these days, and I listen to everything that's played on the radio! Atleast once.

Nothing really happened today, I checked my email and found out the shirt I wanted was sold out. So instead of that I'm getting Dir en grey's Ware photobook, a nice trade off but damn I really wanted that t-shirt.
At lunch me and my friend were attacked every ten minutes by crazy love bugs and the showers in the girls locker room was infested with mosquitoes, but only yesterday, they were gone today. My friend Sonya suddenly decided during lunch that she wanted to teach me how to draw a face, just the eyes, nose and mouth. I did alright.
I have to do a speech in front of my French class on Friday and I don't get to use notes. Crap! That means I actually have to study so that I don't make a fool of myself in front of the whole class. We got our progress reports and mine was decent enough to not mind showing my parents but that's the only good thing that happened to me recently.

This is mostly stuff that happened yesterday since I didn't post it then.
I have P.E first period which is nice because it's cooler in the morning so I don't sweat as much. Well the class ran there lap and were walking the cool down or playing football and there was this one kid who continued running....For another seven laps non stop! It'd be awesome to be able to do that!
Last night i was looking for some Dir en grey CD's to buy and found a site with all sorts of merchandise. I ended up ordering things like official t-shirts. I'm really anxious about getting a confirmation e-mail for one t-shirt because there's only one left and I'm worried someone else got it.
My dad is very awesome! Not only is he the one that has the credit card getting my stuff but I was looking through my e-mail and found one he had written to me, it was one of those really mushy things about how I was growing up, how he's proud of me and the like. It took me a couple times to get through the whole thing because I have a hard time reading those kind of things especially when they're for me. Like how really mushy movies make me squirm in my seat. Also one time when we were getting out of the car he said something to my mom about how he had been looking for an opening every year at the University of Illinois and I know it's just because ever since we moved away I'd tell him how much I wanted to move back every chance I got. I just never knew he listened to me when I said those things about moving back so it was cool.

I finally buckled down and started practicing guitar. I'm horrible at the chords, they never sound right. The show that had disappeared for awhile has come back and I'm so happy!
Weekends are so boring for me because nothing ever happens, school' s good at giving me something to write about. Oh yea, student elections happened Friday, I didn't vote because I really didn't care but I am curious as to who won it. I only knew two of the people running. The internet was whack this morning and it only started working an hour ago, that's probably the main reason I got anywhere with the guitar.

I was feeling sick this morning so I stayed home and slept for an extra two or so hours. When I woke up I was feeling better so I walked to school, I got there when third period had just started, French. I got to miss world history and P.E.
There was a pep rally for the last twenty minutes of class today but I didn't go, and unless someone tells me they're absolutely amazing I don't plan on going to any. .

松尾 Matsuo (tail of a pine tree) 明日香 Asuka (fragrance of the bright day) That apparently is my Japanese name, family name first, it's kind of cool though I'd like to know what the kanji for my real name. I got it by typing my name into a Japanese name generator.
I haven't practiced the guitar for two days. The first day was because I forgot, the second day because I had gone to the orthodontist and wasn't feeling good so I went to bed and feel asleep at 8:00. I also forgot to do my homework but my alarm clock is set an hour and a half earlier then it needs to be so I did it this morning.
I turned on the TV this morning because in the morning I like to listen to the radio or watch music videos on TV so I turned to vh1 and saw the end to Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" music video, I love that song. Only vh1 play it.
Listen to it!

I'm back to school after my unexpected break. I'm starting to see what classes are going to be tough for me and sadly that's all of them. I some how find my self in honors classes I'm sure I'm not ready for. I got a new back pack because my old one was old, dirty, too small and purple, I have no idea why I liked it ever. There's a cute Japanese boy in school that's older then me but hope he's not a senior. He's a good couple inches taller than me, kinda on the skinny side and has awesome short, auburn hair. I think it's good that I have a crush because it gives me something to look forward to in my otherwise boring day. We have the same lunch period and he and his friends always sit at the same table outside so I know where to find him. To bad my friends are never stationary long enough to sit at a table nearby. We spent our whole lunch period hanging around this "Adopt a Senior" table just outside of the main cafe area. Two of my friends are bidding on three different people so far, it's crazy.
They're crazy.

I'm learning guitar! I stared yesterday, my dad took me out to Band Central Station to buy a guitar book and a pick. I know eight notes on the first three strings already, dad says I'm learning fast since it's only my second day. That's good to know because he said once I get good he'll buy me an electric guitar, I can't wait! My finger tips are unsurprisingly red and sore, I'm angry at them because they hurt too much to practice and it hurts to type. I know I'm going to get in trouble soon if I keep blowing of school work to practice, I just want to be decent by Christmas.
I've got $49.00 and I'm trying to decide what to buy. It's either going to be Miyavi or Dir en grey, and if it's Deg I have to try and decide on which one. Arrgg! There are so many to chose from! Usually that would be a good thing but not when you have to chose between them! It'll probably take me a year or so to get all of there stuff. Bummer.

I've been really getting into Gackt lately, which is weird because he used to really piss me off. I don't know why he did though, probably because I thought he was really stuck up, he probably is, but I've learned to deal with it and now I think that he's okay. So I guess he's about as cool as a Jpop star can get, 'cause that's what I consider him as, Jpop. I've heard others refer to him as a Jrocker but he's so not. When I read about all of the instruments he can play I was very impressed especially the trombone and trumpet, they seem so random. He's really quirky too but after hearing him sing I have to admit the boys got talent.
Alright enough of that, now to Miyavi! I heard a couple of his songs last weekend and I really like them, I liked his voice. He looks alright, seems like kind of a goof ball. Nothing wrong with that of course, goof balls are usually sweet!
I got a new keyboard last night because my current one is a piece of crap! The keys would stick and all that jazz. I replaced it like just ten minutes ago, as in the first three lines of this post were written with the keyboard from hell while everything else with this new snazzy one. I can't believe I stopped writing just to put in this new one, I couldn't even wait to finish up the post.
Oh my.

You know considering that school has been canceled for the week you'd think I'd be giddy with joy, unfortunately that feeling only lasted for about five minutes before I sped to the corner of Boredom Avenue and Sick Lane. The break isn't so bad since now I have an extension on a paper I need to write for class, but it would be better if I didn't seem to get sicker with each passing day.
The only television show I liked seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth which means my last connection to the boob tube has finally been severed and I now feel an urge to think up the most entertaining way to dispose of said electronic. Meanwhile I find myself here. I'm trying to convince myself that surfing the web and researching the same subject (usually Jrock related) multiple times a day is better then zoning out on the couch.
Lately I've been rewatching many of my old movies such as Aladdin, Fern Gully and Harriet the Spy. Why I've suddenly become so interested in these movies is unknown. I remember watching The Never Ending Story when I was young at it really freaking me out, that memory has caused a hesitancy to watch it and actually find out why it scares me.
That's all I've got in me,

I downloaded this file and was looking through it when I found an episode of a Japanese show that I think is called Domoto Brothers. It was the episode featuring Shingo Mama. Three times during the episode he makes it look like he's kissing Gackt who is sitting about seven feet behind him. The first time he does it Gackt doesn't notice at first but when he does he laughs and even seems a little embarrassed. It's hilarious to watch.
Here's the whole gang with Shingo Mama front and center.
http://venus.walagata.com/w/arlo/shingo1.jpg
Gackt doesn't notice Shingo Mama yet.
http://venus.walagata.com/w/arlo/shingo6.jpg
Now he's seen Shingo Mama's face but doesn't know what he's doing.
http://venus.walagata.com/w/arlo/shingo7.jpg
Gackt sees a screen with their image and realizes what's going on then ducks his head while the others try to get Shingo Mama's attention.
http://venus.walagata.com/w/arlo/shingo8.jpg
By the third time Gackt know what's coming and puts his hand up and Shingo Mama pretends to struggle against it. The faces he makes are incredible!
